Day 3 in Review

Hundreds of Siemens Energy & Automation, Inc. (SE&A) customers, Solutions Partners and employees headed home Friday as the 2007 Siemens Automation Summit drew to a close after three and a half days of best practice sharing, hands-on training and networking at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando, Florida.

SE&A Automation and Motion Division Vice President Raj Batra said, “A core value of the Summit is the facilitation of collaboration and best practice sharing. Over the last few days, we have witnessed tremendous cross-pollination among attendees and received excellent feedback from our user community.” He added, "I am extremely pleased with this year’s event. Through an open dialogue with our customers, partners and employees, we will continue to enhance the Summit experience and the opportunities it provides.”

Day 2 in Review

Day 2 focused on customer success. Incoming President and CEO Dennis Sadlowski, during his keynote address, explained Siemens' strategy for helping customers and partners become successful through innovative technology and collaboration. Sadlowski emphasized Siemens’ commitment to its user community through investing more in research and development  than any other US-based competitor.

Day 1 in Review

Hundreds gathered Wednesday morning for the opening session of the 2007 Siemens Automation Summit. SE&A Automation and Motion Division Vice President Raj Batra told the attendees that AMD represents the DNA of the A&D business worldwide with the U.S. being the most important market for Siemens. Batra said the Summit gives Siemens customers and partners a chance to learn about and experience the latest innovations in the Siemens and partner portfolios.

Day 0 in Review

Day 0 (Zero) at the 2007 Siemens Automation Summit brought together nearly 150 participants for pre-conference training courses, a full day before the official kick-off of this year's Summit. In addition to the training courses, members of the trade press and industry analysts were given the opportunity to meet with Siemens technical experts and management to discuss industry trends, innovations and Siemens’ strategy.

Day 1 is expected to be the continuation of what began Tuesday as an opportunity for education, networking and best practice sharing.
