The APACS+™ MODULBUS/MODULNET Interface Card

The MODULBUS/MODULNET Interface (MBI/MNI) card provides a secure, redundant, direct connection between a workstation or server and the APACS| control network.  The workstation or server can communicate with the APACS+ control network by means of either the MODULBUS (M-BUS) network or the MODULNET )M-NET) network.

MODULNET is a redundant, plant-wide carrier band network; MODULBUS is a similar un-modulated network that is well sited for area-wide topologies.

The MBI/MNI card installs in a 32-bit PCI slot of a workstation or server.  With the MBI/MNI card, you can carry out various control and operations, configuration, and troubleshooting console functions by using APACS+ software on the workstation or server.
