Technology packages enable the creation of technology objects, which provide a very simple view of the technology package functions. A wide range of technology objects is available, all of which are created, configured, and assigned parameters in the same manner. Technology objects also have a programming interface, enabling you to call the function from the application program.

Creating is supported by a wizard to define:
Axis name
Axis functionality (speed or position or gear controlled)
Axis type: rotary or linear, electrical or hydraulic, position or pressure or force controlled)
Once you have created and and configured an axis, it is displayed with its name in the project tree, along with additional tabs for assigning parameters to the axis and the option to create additional technology objects (such as output cams (PLS) and measuring inputs (probe)) linked to the axis.
Parameterization is supported by graphical dialogs:
System variables show the different states of the axis and can be used for monitoring, trace recoding, programming, as well as HMI visualization:
