Enclosures & Mounting
Siemens Large AC Above NEMA motors manufactured in our Norwood, Ohio, plant are available in various degrees of protection (enclosures) as defined by the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA). Horizontal motors are foot-mounted configuration for direct connection or, in some ratings, for belt drive. Vertical motors are flange-mounted, solid shaft down. Some ratings also are available as hollow shaft.
In addition, we can offer custom enclosures for your special needs.
