Siemens Large Drives Applications (LD A) develops, produces and markets electric medium voltage motor drives and motor drive systems throughout the world. These high-power drives are used in industrial applications and marine applications. Specifically, LD A is responsible for all Siemens medium-voltage drives including Robicon Perfect Harmony and SINAMICS GM150 and SM150 and SIMOVERT D and GL150. LD A offers bundling of medium voltage packages (drives, motors, switchgear, control houses, etc., sold together).

LD A is headquartered in New Kensington, Pa. This location is the global headquarters for all LD A products, offices and factories. Factory locations include New Kensington, Nuremberg, Shanghai and San Paolo. In addition, there is an LD A office in High Wycombe, U.K., with a marine application center.

Siemens LD A has proven experience in markets including oil and gas, power generation, water/wastewater and cement, as well as marine, rolling mills and other industrial segments. Siemens drives are proven in applications such as pumps, fans and compressors.
