The X408-2 Switch is a high performance Gigabit Ethernet switch for industrial networking incorporating office features with fast redundancy and diagnostics by the means of signaling contact and SNMP.
Four integrated Gigabit Ethernet twisted-pair ports (10, 100 or 1000 Mbit/s) and four integrated Fast Ethernet twisted-pair ports (10, 100 Mbit/s).
The Gigabit twisted-pair ports (10, 100 or 1000 Mbit/s) can be converted to optical 100Mbit/s FO or 1000Mbit/s FO ports by means of the media modules
Fast Ethernet and Gigabit rings with fast redundancy (<0.3 seconds)
PROFINET diagnostics and lost communication data can be obtained via web interface, e-mail or SNMP
Support of VLAN (virtual LAN), IGMP snooping and IGMP Query function
Stores configuration data, using the C-plug (Memory Module), reducing maintenance costs.
