Cost-efficient digital block I/O enables cabinetless installation with IP67 protection right at the site of the process. Eco stands for "easy connection, easy commissioning and economical". Two connection systems are available: M12 and Ecofast. The following features are typical of the new I/O:
	• Compact, rugged, easy-care housing
	• Built-In "T" functionality: the electronic block permits hot swapping without interrupting the power supply or the bus line
	• Variable and flexible connection blocks are available for:
		o ECOFAST: 2x hybrid fieldbus RS485 interface module with identification plug for setting the PROFIBUS address
		o M12: 2x M12 and 2x 7/8" with 2 rotary coding switches for PROFIBUS address assignment
	• Module versions: 8DI, 16DI, 8DI/8DO (1.3A), 8DI8DO (2A), 8DO, 16DO
	• Connection capability for non-equivalency sensors on the 16DI version
	• Module diagnostics for load voltage and sensor short circuit
	• Interface to Profibus-DP with transmission rates of up to 12 Mbit/s
