Siemens Modernizes Bar Mills in the United States and Mexico
ATLANTA -- Siemens Metals Technologies received orders to modernize bar mills at Steel Dynamics, Inc. (SDI) in Pittsboro, Indiana, U.S.A., and at Talleres y Aceros S.A. de C.V. in Ixtaczoquitlán, Mexico. Both projects are scheduled for completion by the end of 2008.
Steel Dynamics, Inc. operates a bar mill in their its electric-furnace minimill in Pittsboro, /Indiana.
