Siemens Introduces SIBREAK DVR Sheet Break Management System

ATLANTA — Siemens Energy & Automation, Inc. announced today, the introduction of the SIBREAK DVR Sheet Break Management System, the newest addition to the SIPAPER portfolio of integrated solutions for the Pulp and Paper industry.

Built on the latest digital video technology, the SIBREAK DVR System provides advanced monitoring and sheet break analysis of paper and tissue machines and converting operations. This innovative system offers an immediate return on investment by continuously recording events that can cause machine problems, poor quality and sheet breaks.

Additionally, mills no longer have to deal with hard drive failures associated with traditional systems. All SIBREAK DVR Systems are equipped with hot-swappable drives that can be exchanged in minutes and are easy to maintain. The system also takes traditional analog technology one step further by implementing a multi-hour buffer of video for each camera and eliminating the headaches related to system service and maintenance.

SIBREAK DVR System`s operator interface is easy to use and integrates fully with SIPAPER Drives, DCS, QCS, Power and other SIPAPER modules providing papermakers a way to continue to do more with less. The SIBREAK DVR System is one more example of Siemens’ commitment to the U.S. paper industry.
