Siemens Honors Customer Excellence With Annual Award
CHICAGO – Siemens Energy & Automation, Inc. today recognized five U.S. companies for outstanding technological leadership during the 2008 Siemens Automation Summit held at Chicago’s Navy Pier Conference Center.
Raj Batra, vice president, Automation and Motion Division, Siemens Energy & Automation, presented Customer Excellence awards to Bacardi Corporation; Roeslein & Associates, Inc.; Lehigh Cement; Northrop Grumman - Sperry Marine; and Steam Plant Systems, Inc.
“Siemens’ Customer Excellence Award recognizes companies that are using our innovative technologies and products to achieve operational and business goals,” Batra said. “We applaud their commitment to customer satisfaction and working with Siemens to find the right solutions in an increasingly competitive market.”
Presented annually, the Siemens Customer Excellence Award honors Siemens Solution Partners, OEMs and end users that have used Siemens leading-edge technology to implement solutions that meet their customers’ needs for improved production capabilities, real-time information and reduced energy consumption, as well as enabling their customers to save time and money.
Nominations for the Customer Excellence Award were open to Siemens Solution Partners, and end-user and OEM manufacturing companies that currently use Siemens technology. A panel of Siemens senior and product management representatives selected the recipients of the awards.
