Announcing The 2007 Siemens Automation Summit

ATLANTA —  Siemens Energy & Automation, Inc. (SE&A) announced today that its annual Users Conference, the Siemens Automation Summit, will be held June 13-15, 2007 at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando. The theme of this year’s event is “Automation, Innovation, Inspiration.”

The Siemens Automation Summit is a comprehensive conference for anyone who works with Siemens integrated solutions for process and factory automation.  It is designed to bring together Siemens with end users, prospects and partners enabling conference attendees to develop optimum strategies for successful lifecycle management of their systems.

At the 2007 Summit industry experts and analysts will present on the latest trends and technologies. The event will also feature presentations of “best practices” through customer case histories, which detail the continuing benefits of Siemens products.

“The Siemens Automation Summit is an important event for Siemens customers and partners to directly engage company management, inspire and be inspired by the people they meet through the sharing of real world experiences, and develop ideas for improving their business by deepening their connection to industry leaders,” said Raj Batra, vice president, Automation and Motion Division, SE&A.

Live demonstrations of new products and technologies will be displayed as part of the expanded Solutions Showcase, a tradition started nine years ago. The Showcase features interactive exhibits for Distributed Control, MES and Discrete product lines, staffed by Siemens experts. Product previews and recent advancements will be shared. Additionally, Siemens integration partners will showcase their capabilities in an enhanced partner area.
